These terms apply when you buy a vehicle from Car X Ltd ("we", "us"). Contact details are at the foot of every page.
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Vehicles must be of satisfactory quality (taking into account age, mileage and price), fit for purpose and as described. If a fault is present at the point of sale you may be entitled to reject the vehicle within 30 days, or to a repair or replacement, and in some cases a price reduction or refund.
If you buy without visiting us — for example by phone or online with delivery — you have 14 days from delivery to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You must return the vehicle in the condition it was delivered; we may deduct for excess mileage or damage beyond what is needed to inspect it.
Prices include VAT where applicable. There are no administration fees. Payment is by bank transfer or debit/credit card. A deposit may be taken to reserve a vehicle; it is refundable if we cannot supply the vehicle as described.
Vehicles are supplied with a third-party nationwide warranty of at least 12 months unless agreed otherwise in writing. The warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights. Its terms and claim limits will be given to you before purchase.
We take care to describe vehicles accurately. Mileage is as recorded and checked against MOT history. If anything is wrong in a listing, please tell us before you buy.
